The Immediate Impact Walk is a community of like-minded people who walk 55 miles over 3 days to raise money for CMC, Breast Cancer Emergency Fund, Friend to Friend and Metavivor. They are possibilitarians who see the need for funding the Bay Area under-served breast cancer community and metastatic disease research.
With this event they strive to help address that need by raising critical funds to help widen the safety net for the under-served. In short, they want to leave the world a better place than we found it. With this event they channel their compassion into action.
This event is an avenue to channel their love of walking, a place to foster a kindhearted community, maintain their commitment to raising needed funds, and allows them to tap into their collective passion, making a difference in the lives of people living with breast cancer.
